Research Project Theme

Research on ‘effective utilization of uranium resources and radioactive wastes management '
In order to realize a sustainably growing society, secured energy resources without emission of carbon dioxide and impeccable systems of their utilization are essential. Nuclear energy utilization may be a candidate for them, but we need to find solutions for the problems concerning with the limitation of available uranium resources and treatment and disposal of radioactive wastes.  To solve these problems, we seek applications who are proposing a sub-project for the academic researches related with radiation measurement for nuclear safety, risk management, and engineering ethics.
